Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, just tried this whisky. Smells like a bonfire with a hint of honey 🍯. Tastes a bit smoky and smooth, with some vanilla notes. Finish is warm and lingerin'. Not bad at all! 🥃 #WhiskyTasting
Ooh, right, lovely stuff! 🥃 Got that honey & spice vibe, proper warming. A bit o' smoke in there, not too much, just a hint like a distant bonfire. 🍂 Mouthfeel is creamy, almost buttery. Finish is long, with a dry, woody sorta note. Very more-ish. 👍 Aye, a real comfort dram on a chilly evenin'.
Right, so this whisky’s got a real nice nose – a bit of honey and lemon 🍋, with some gentle smoke. On the palate, it’s smooth like, with hints of spice and a touch of fruitiness. Finish is warm and lingers a bit. Really moreish, innit? 🥃😊 Oh, and a bit of oak comin’ through too. Proper solid dram!
Oof, this one hits different. First sniff is like... bonfire smoke n' orange peel? 🍊🔥 The mouthfeel's proper thick, almost chewy. Tastes like Christmas cake left too long by the hearth. Dark fruits, yeah, but also this weirdly nice bitter chocolate thing. Kinda numbs the tongue a bit, in a good way. Finish is loooong. Sweet wood smoke hangs around forever. Might be a bit much for some, but I'm lovin' it. Feels like a hug from the inside. 🥃
