Whiskyspace Notes 1424

Honestly, this one hit me with a clear winery note straight away – like sniffing an old cellar. Felt like peonies and sultanas dancing around, then boom, a hefty dose of pepper that just kept coming back for more. The vinosity was ultra-pronounced, almost wine-like, and after a sip, violets popped up in the aftertaste. I got blackberry and raspberry liqueurs mixed in, with a weird onion peel thing and a touch of short-macerated gewürztraminer. Marmalade and prunes too, plus hints of rose petals. The finish was long, really sticking around. 😊
