Right, had a wee dram of this last nite 🥃. Nose is proper smoky, like peat fires 🔥. Hint of sea air too 🌊. Palate warms you up, honeyed 🍯. Maybe some dried fruit 🍇. Bit rough but i like the character. Good for a chilly eveing ❄️. Would definatly buy again. Cheers mates 🍻.
Mmm, first sniff is like stewed orchard fruits, bit of honey 🍯 and a whiff of old leather armchair. On the palate it’s warm and softly spiced—think cinnamon bun dough, a whisper of peel. Gets that oily, coating feel. Finish is surprisingly long, drifts into oaky vanilla with just a pinch of dried herbs. Proper dram for a rainy Tuesday. Sláinte! 🥃
Ah, that first sip... immediate hit of baked apples 🍎 and creamy vanilla. Then a lovely wave of warm honey and a touch of spice comes through. The smokiness is gentle, like a distant campfire, and there's a definite note of toasted oak. It's got a nice, rounded mouthfeel. Finish is medium-long, with the smoke and a bit of citrus zest hanging on. Really pleasant, that. A proper winter warmer. 🥃
