Dumbarton 1987 29 Years Single Grain Whisky

Right, had a wee dram tonight. 🥃 Nose is propr smoky, like peat fires near the coast. Taste... woody, hint of honey maybe? Warmth going down smooth. Finish lingers nicely, abit dry. Quite chuffed with this one. Needs a drop of watter though. Chears! 🍻

Aye, this dram’s got a propper cosy feel. Nose is all toffee, dark choclate, and a whiff of stewed orchard fruits—like apples n pears left in the pan. Sip’s warm an spice-led, hints of vanilla and a bit of that sherried sweetness, then a puff of gentle peat smoke at the back. Finish stays a good while, soft oak and a tingle of ginger. Cracking stuff for a rainy evening 🥃✨
