Poured a dram of this light gold beauty. Absolutely terrific at first nosing, really punchy but in a good way. Got some lovely butterscotch mixed with zesty grapefruits and orange skins. There's this brilliant waxy texture to it, almost like Thai coconut sauce meets dry grasses, and a bit of crushed chalk. It feels less harsh, just beautifully coated. Feeds into a proper long finish that gets quite salty towards the end. Absolutely fabulous dram, feels honest and not unnecessarily engineered. 🥃
