Glenburgie The Single Malts of Scotland 1998 18 Years Single Malt Whisky

Blimey, this one's a proper journey! 🥃 First sniff – get loads of smoky peat, but not overpowerin', more like a campfire on the coast. 🏕️ Then a lovely wave of honey and baked apple comes through, maybe a bit of sultana. On the palate, it's got a chewy, oily mouthfeel. 🍯 The sweetness is there – caramelised sugars, a touch of marmalade – but it's balanced by a dry, woody oakiness. 🌳 Can't miss the spice either, a gentle pepperiness and a hint of clove. The finish is long, warm, and drying. That smokiness lingers, mingling with some dark chocolate notes. 🍫 It's bloomin' lovely. Makes you want another sip straight away, sry not sry. 👍
