It reminded me of green tea and balsa wood, with an oily arrival that settled into a long, quiet fruit‑peelings finish – not shouting, just a hint of linseed oil. A class act, firm yet mellow, and a splash of water really opened it up, giving a lemony barley feel. 😊

刚刚开瓶，这酒闻起来有点像太阳晒过的谷仓地板，带点淡淡的柠檬皮和绿茶气息。 颜色是挺正的金黄，第一口下去居然不冲，反而油油润润的。 果味并不张扬，像藏在木头后面的桃子皮和苹果皮，若隐若现。 中间飘出点像旧书页的木质调，让我想起小时候玩的轻木模型…… 加两滴水确实好些，尾段竟隐约有点像民谣乐队在远山哼歌的感觉 😄

Started with an oily arrival – really coats the mouth. Got linseed oil and grist, with a touch of green tea and sawdust. Not a fruit bomb at all, more like fruitcake and subtle fruit peelings. The finish is long, and it's a class act all round. 👌 Adding water helps a lot; it brings out white peaches and balsa wood. Felt like unreduced limoncello. Excellent middle-aged Irish whisky, natural and firmer than some I've tried. Had me singing The Pogues! Quality is solid in my book, with fruits that don't trumpet everywhere. 😊

Yeah, this whisky's got a right rich and fruity kick to it, like a burst of berries or summat. Then there's a smoky layer that creeps in, almost like a cozy fireplace. 🥃 Vanilla and oak come through on the swallow, really smooth like. And oof, that spicy finish? Warms ya right up! 😊 Proper lovely stuff, innit.
