Lovely golden dram, this. I get loads of praline and fudge straight away, with milk chocolate, sultanas from the sherry side, and a wee lift of lemon nougat. There’s a firm woody bit, but it sits nicely with quince jelly, Calvados and a touch of ice wine sweetness. Fairly long finish too. Rather good, and the price is equally pleasing 🙂

Quite a cosy dram, this one. Loads of praline straight away, with that PX sweetness bringing sherry sultanas, milk chocolate and soft fudge 😋 I get a wee flash of lemon nougat too, then it turns a bit more grown-up with assertive woodiness, almost Calvados and ice wine in my head. Rather good, honestly, and the price is equally pleasing. Finish hangs about fairly long.
