A limoncello zing and a splash of sugarcane juice give it a tropical twist, mellowed by vanilla and a smooth, rumness finish. Feels good, like a golden treat 😊

Blimey, this whisky is a real treat 🍸! As I take a sip, I'm hit with the sweetness of sugarcane juice and a hint of lemon zest, it's like a refreshing summer day. The sesame notes add a nice depth, while the viognier and chardonnay hints give it a rich, creamy feel. It's like biting into a piece of shortbread, all buttery and lovely 🥧. The finish is medium, with a hint of varnish and a smooth, sweet custard taste. I also get a whiff of halva, which is a nice surprise. The rumness is there, but it's not overpowering, and the coconut wine notes add a nice tropical twist 🌴. It's a smoother drink, with a lovely vanilla flavour and a hint of oaky new-world chardonnay. Overall, it's a cracking good whisky, if I do say so myself 😊!

第一口像是嚼着奶油蛋糕，又带点椰子酒的甜腻，后面跟着一丝柠檬皮的清爽。木头味儿不算重，但有点像旧家具上的清漆那种古老的木头气息，慢慢渗进去。 中间夹杂着焦糖爆米花的香气，还有点像金黄色的香草冰淇淋，舌尖上留着一抹杏仁膏似的哈尔瓦余韵。最后是一阵像极了老式椰子甜酒的回甘，带着一点药酒的刺激感，但又被柔顺的口感压下去了。 整体像是把一杯夏日金黄色的夏敦埃酒和一点点老式椰子甜酒混在一起，喝完后嘴里还残留着 pistachio 的微微坚果香。 🍹

Right then, poured myself a glass and had a proper think. First thing that hits is this massive wave of coconut, like a blast from a bottle of vintage Malibu. Then it mellows into this lovely, sweet custard and vanilla combo, with a dusting of shortbread crumbs. There's a right interesting note of lemon zest and something floral, a bit like a sip of limoncello on a sunny day. Gets a bit nutty too – thinking pistachio and sesame, like in a piece of halva. The finish is smooth, with that butterscotch popcorn vibe lingering. A proper gold-coloured drop, that one. Quite the journey. 😊

Poured a glass of this lovely gold dram. Initially, it smells like a very typical grain whisky—got a touch of that acetone note, but it quickly settles into something resembling an oaky new-world chardonnay. It's actually really good. Tastes like a proper treat—loads of buttered and caramelised popcorn, sweet custard, and shortbread. There's a hint of coconut and bits of lemon zest too. Then it does this weird but lovely turn, almost bordering rumness with an unexpected feeling of sugarcane juice. The aftertaste brings out rather more of that old wood, along with a bit of sesame, pistachio and halva. Spot on for a quiet evening. 🥃
