poured a dram，颜色是漂亮的gold色，闻起来有coconut cream和maple syrup的甜香，夹杂着一丝lavender，感觉挺特别的。 喝下去的第一感觉是spicy arrival，ginger和bags and bags of cinnamon的味道很突出，有点像吃了spicy bread sprinkled with custard。但很快，Really very oaky的味道就完全占主导了， frankly over-oaked，嘴里全是typical oak juice和pencil shavings的感觉，还有sawdust，甚至有点像在喝over-infused tea， Very dry。 中间好像尝到一点bitter cocoa和Caraway bread的味道，但more and more oak gets in the way，把其他风味都盖住了。尾韵是drying和gritty，留着淡淡的coconut cream和maple syrup的影子。 总的来说，有点像在嚼一块加了香料的橡木块 🤔，不是我喜欢的那种平衡感。

看着是漂亮的金色，闻起来有点香草和椰子奶油的甜香。 一喝下去，哇，挺冲的，有点姜的辛辣，还有点像烤过的葛缕子面包。但很快，太重的木头味就涌上来了，真的，非常非常明显。 感觉像在啃铅笔屑，后面还有点像枫糖浆的甜，但完全被橡木压住了。嘴里特别干，跟喝了泡过头的浓茶似的。 这酒的木头味实在太霸道了，把其他味道都挤到角落了😅 总体有点过头，有点遗憾。

Just tried this dram, and it hit with a rather spicy arrival, like ginger and cinnamon kicking in straight away. Got a whiff of sawdust and over-infused tea—very woody and tannic. Mid-palate, there's Caraway bread and custard, but the oak gets in the way, really very oaky and drying. Bags and bags of cinnamon linger on the finish. 🥃

Just tried this whisky – gritty texture hits first, like it's a bit rough around the edges. 😊 Then the oak builds up, more and more of it gets in the way, honestly. There's bags of cinnamon here, really spicy kick. Color's a nice gold, but reckon this cask could've been better vatted, you know? Tastes like typical oak juice with bitter cocoa notes, drying and very dry – my mouth's puckering. The arrival is rather spicy, reminds me of spicy bread sprinkled with custard, oddly comforting. Medium body, a bit like over-infused tea, with maple syrup sweetness and caraway bread hints. Quite the dram! 🥃

A proper evening dram this. That first nosing brings back cologne fresh out the bottle, then black tea leaves steeping with vanilla pods. A sunny sort of vibe altogether. Takes a while to open up on the palate, mind. Bit of tannicity grips the tongue, followed by bitter oranges and a trace of raspberry jam. Violet sweets come through after, marmalade-y in a way. Like sunshine bottled with extra vanillin and oak. Golden colour, but it could do with more action – maybe that rye spice showing up? Caramel sweetness lingers, though the clove-y aftertaste sticks around longest. Zests of citric fruit, almost like buckwheat crepes with orange zests sprinkled on. Bags of cinnamon in the finish, a little better with each sip. 😊
