Just took a sip and got hit by a sharp peppery kick, like fresh chillies mixed with a dash of Tabasco 🌶️. Then the agave and coffee notes came through, backed by a dark gold, slightly woody humus vibe, with a grassier aftertaste that lingered very long. There's a zesty lemon zest and grapefruit brightness, a touch of passion fruit and mango, plus a mildly chocolaty custard feel – overall complex, powerful and vibrantly tropical, yet a notch more closed at the finish.

Right, poured myself a dram tonight and... blimey. 😮 First thing that hits is this vibrantly tropical vibe - mangoes, passion fruits, maybe some grapefruit zing. As it opens up, I'm getting these freshly broken branches - like walking through a woodland after rain. Then the chocolate creeps in, mild but lovely, with some custard sweetness and coffee underneath. 🍫 There's pepper and chillies lurking in the background, gives it a proper kick. The citrus - those lemon zests - keeps it all bright and lively though. Quite powerful and complex, not the most immediate thing I've tried. Takes its time to reveal itself, which I actually quite like. There's an earthy humus note grounding it all. The finish? Very long. Still tasting it now as I type this. Dark gold colour, reminds me of those older Benriach bottlings. ✨ Proper good stuff.
