Just had a wee dram that started off quite fresher, almost like a citrus zing mixed with ripe apples and orchard fruits. 🍎 There's something that reminds me of a simple Sylvaners or a good Pinot Blanc, you know? That light, chalky note. Then it opens up a bit, getting a touch of herbaceous and something like old raisins, but the white raisins sort of. It's got this aged white wines character but livelier. A bit of green pepper sneaks in there too. There’s this undercurrent of metal, like an old metal box, and a strange touch of polish. The colour is like straw, and the finish is quite long. Overall, the older, raisin notes got outshone a bit by the fresher fruit for me, but it's an interesting one. 🥃
