Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right then, poured a dram earlier 🥃. Nose is proper sweet, hints of honey 🍯 and vanila. Palate got some spice, cinamon maybe? Finish is warm, goes down smooth though. Realy pleasant for a rainy eveing 🌧️. Would definetly have another glass. Cheers mates! 🍻

Honestly mate, this one's a proper treat 🥃 First sip and you get hit with that lovely vanilla sweetness, like proper custard vibes. Then there's this gentle smoky peat thing going on in the background - not too aggressive like, just enough to remind you it's there. Fruity notes pop up after - bit of pear, some citrus lemon/orange tang. Really refreshing init? 🍋 The caramel and honey come through on the finish, warming everything up nicely. There's a wee bit of spice too, keeps things interesting like. Malty backbone throughout, reminds me of those proper traditional scotches me grandad used to drink 😌 Medium body, not too heavy not too light. Just right for a wee dram after work y'know? Would definitely recommend if you're after summat balanced and smooth 👍 8/10 would pour again
