Deep gold in the glass, smells properly fragrant straight away. I get old roses, rose water and Turkish delight, then raspberry ganache, kirsch and a bit of orange marmalade. It’s sweet and creamy but still clean, with lemon balm, ginger, cinnamon and a wee peppery warmth. The oak feels lively, a touch salty, maybe the faintest peat, and the finish goes on nicely with cosy spice 😊
