Starward 2016 3 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram last night 🥃. Nose is proper smoky, like peat fires 🔥. Taste got some sweetness too, maybe honey or toffee 🍯. Goes down smooth but warms the chest nice. Definatly a good one for a quiet eveing. Would have another glass tbh.

Just had a wee dramm of this – nosh hits like sea spray and a whisper of iodine, then baked apple crumble with a drizzle of honey 🍯🍏. Pallet’s proper soft, almost creamy toffee, pinch of black pepper. Finish lingaz gentle with oak and a salty tang. Cozy as. 🥃🌊😌 Cheeers

Oh, just had a lovely dram. The nose is all toffee and apple pie, a bit of smoke in the back, maybe a sherry cask influence? On the palate, honey and spice jump out. Get a note of banana and cinnamon, with a hint of sea salt. 🧂 The smokiness comes through nicely. Finish is warm, woody spice, like oak, with vanilla and black pepper. All in balance, really. A proper winter warmer. 👍 I’d have another.
