Linkwood 1997 18 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, just poured myself a wee dram 🥃 Nose is quite sweet, like honeycomb and dried apricots. Maybe a hint of citrus peeking thru? 🍊 Takes a bit of time to open up but its lovely. On the palate... warm. Nice burn going down. 🔥 Flavours of toffee and a bit of spice. Not harsh at all. Finish lasts quite awhile, leaves you feeling cosy. Definitly one for the cold evenings. Right, just had a nip of this. 🥃 Nose hits hard, proper peat smoke 🔥. Taste is suprisingly sweet though 🍯, vanilla and oak 🪵. Little bit of spice on the tongue 🌶️. Finish lingers, warms you up inside. Definetly one for the cold eveings. Quite nice favour overall. Cheers! 🍻
