Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Starts with a bit of smoke, sorta woody 🪵. Then lovely vanilla and honey come through, like a right cozy hug. Finish is long with a hint of cinnamon spice and a touch of dried apple 🍎. Right smooth and warming, my fav on a chilly evening. 🔥

Right then, this whisky’s got a real ese sort of vibe init – like, 😊 warm and inviting. First sip, you get that 0pl on the tongue, smooth as anything. Then comes the c and t, lovely hints of v and l. Finish is proper satisfying, lingering with a touch of y and s. Really enjoyed it, cheers! 🥃👍 (Just a note, the flavour notes are a bit mixed, but it all works together nicely.)

4#4

Right, so this whisky has a real smoky nose, almost like a campfire vibe. 🥃 On the tongue, it's a bit rough at first but mellows into somethin' sweeter – I reckon honey and a touch of spice. Definately warms you up proper! 🔥 The finish lingers with a hint of oak and vanilla, leaves a cozy feelin'. Quite enjoyble, innit? 😌

5#5

Ooft, that's a proper dram. 🥃 Nose first – got that smoky wood, but also... is it honey? And maybe some dried fruit. 🍯 Palate is smooth, a bit spicy like... cinnamon? With a sweet, malty heart. Goes down well. Finishes long and warm, with a hint of something nutty. Really moreish. 👌 Lovely for a chilly evening.

6#6

Aright, had a dram of this whisky. Nose is quite smoky, like bonfire embers 🌲. Taste brings out a bit of sweetness - honey or apple maybe? Finishes with a warm, peppery kick. Really moreish, innit? 😊 Just smooth sailing all the way down. 👍

7#7

Right, so... first sip, yeah? Got this lovely warmth spreading from the chest outwards. Kinda like... golden honey mixed with vanilla custard? 🍯✨ Then there's this gentle smokiness, not a bonfire, more like... embers in a hearth. Proper cozy. 🔥 The finish? Long, spicy, a little tingly. Leaves you with a sweet, oaky aftertaste. Smoothr than a weasel on a waterslide, that one. 👌 Just... a proper nightcap, innit.
