Right then, just had a wee dram 🥃. Nose is lovely... smoky but not mad. Like walking past a chip shop late at night 🔥. Taste is warm, definetly some honey 🍯 and maybe a bit of spice? Poured a dram last night. On the nose: 🍯 warm butterscotch and bruised apple. Then a gentle bonfire smoke 🪵 drifted in. Took a sip. Wow. It’s oily, almost chewy. Dark chocolate and grapefruit peel 🍊 hit first, very bright. Then it settled into something richer... walnuts, maybe? And a dry, spicy note, like ginger. 🔥 Finish was long and warming.
