Miyagikyo Single Malt Whisky

Blimey, this one hits the nose wi’ a propa waft of orchard fruits 🍏 and a cheeky curl of bonfire smoke 🔥 On the tongue, it's got that honey’d sweetness—like heather honey, y’know—then a wee crackle of pepper and a whisper of salted caramel 🤔 Finish just lingers… gentle oak, a hint of sea spray. Cracking dram 👍

Right, so first off, got this lovely deep amber colour in the glass. The nose is proper inviting. Getting a lot of sweet toffee and baked apples, like a crumble. Then a bit of spice comes through, maybe cinnamon. There's a hint of smokiness in the background, but it's not overwhelming. Taste-wise, it's caramelly and smooth. I'd say it's got that classic vanilla oak note, with a touch of dried fruit. The smoke from the nose is there on the tongue too, a gentle, woody kind of thing. The finish is medium-long, warming, with a lingering sweetness and a whisper of that spice again. A really well-rounded, comforting sip. 🥃

Ah, this one's got a right nice smoky start, then some sweet huney notes. Finish is smooth and warm, like a cozy blanket. Proper enjoy it! 🥃😊
