Blair Athol 1988 30 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, just cracked this open 🥃 Nose is warm... hints of vanilla and dried fruit 🍇 Needs a minute to breathe tho. Taste is smooth, got that honey sweetness 🍯 Finish is lovely, bit of spice at the end. Definately comforting for a rainy night. Proper good stuff. Cheers mates! 🍻

Had a dram last nite and honestly it was quite lovely 🥃 First thing I got was loads of caramel, proper rich stuff, almost like butterscotch innit. Then this warm spice kicked in, cinnamon maybe? Felt really nice going down. There's defo some fruitiness in there too, like stewed apples or summat. Got a bit of that smoky thing aswell, not too heavy like, just a gentle wisp at the back 🌫️ Finish was longer than expected, sort of oaky and a bit nutty. Mouth felt all warm and cozy after. Pretty good tbh, would deffo have another one 👍

Right, so this whisky – first off, it's got a real smoky kick, like a cozy fireplace. 🍂 Then there's a hint of sweet honey and some fruity notes, maybe apple or pear. Quite smooth on the tongue, aye. Finishes long with a touch of spice. Really enjoyabel, I'd say! 😊 Sometimes the nose has a bit of vanilla and oak, lovely stuff. 🥃

Right, this one's got a real smoky nose, like a campfire. 👃 Tastes of sweet fruits, maybe berries, with a hint of spice at the end. 🍒 Bit of a woody finish, and quite smooth on the pallet. Not too harsh! 😋
