Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right, had a wee dram of this earlier. 🥃 Nose is quite sweet, like honey and pear maybe? 🍐 Taste is smooth, no burn really. Got that caramel flavour going on. 🍯 Finish lastes a while, warming you up inside. 🔥 Proper lovely stuff for a Friday night. Might pour another one... 😏 Definate reccomend if you like it gentle. 👍

2#2

Nose quite smoky, a bit of apple pie? Palate: crisp, some vanilla and cinnamon swtich. Finish long, warming. Really nice for a chilly evening. Fancy a dram now 🥃

3#3

Slightly sweet, kinda like dark honey 🍯 but with this oaky bitterness underneath. Hints of... is that stewed apples? Maybe baked pear, with a touch of spice from the wood. It coats your tongue, warming you right down to your chest. Not fiery, just a pleasant heat. There's a cereal note too, like toasted bread or biscuits, which grounds it. Finish is long, a bit dry and slightly nutty. You can really taste the grain and the barrel, if that makes sense. Makes you go back for another sip. 👌

4#4

Apple notes, a bit of smoke... Lovely! Pepper's there too. Vanilla and carmel? Proper smooth, top stuff 😊 Golden color, mmm. That finish... long and warm. Really dig it.

5#5

Crikey, this dram's got a right proper nose on it, innit? 😮 Smells like damp earth after rain 🌧️ and a bonfire in the distance 🔥. On the palate, it's all sweet honey 🍯 and spicy cinnamon, with a bit of citrus peel. Might be a tad woody too. Finish is long and warming, like a hug from a woolly jumper. Proper autumn in a glass, this. 👍

First off, yeah, there's a right smoky vibe goin' on, kinda like a bonfire on a chilly night. 🌫️ Then you get this sweetish hit, maybe caramel or honey, with a bit of apple peeking through. Quite smooth, real smooth. Ooh, and there's a spicy kick at the end, like cinnamon or somethin'. Lovin' it! 👍 Sometimes I get a whiff of oak, too – feels like it's been aged proper. All in all, a real cozy dram for sippin'. 🥃

7#7

Oh, this one's got a proper smokiness to it, kinda like a distant bonfire 🌲🔥. Starts with a bit of honey sweetness 🍯 and then hits you with some oak notes. Real smooth goin' down, but with a spicy kick at the end that wakes ya up. Found meself sippin' it slow, just enjoyin' the warmth. 😋
