Chichibu 2011 3 Years Single Malt Whisky

Mmm, this one's got a real nice smokyness to it – bit like a campfire, ya know? 🥃 With hints of caramel and a touch of vanilla. Goes down smoothe, leaves a warm glow. Proper enjoyible! Sometimes I get a whiff of fruitiness too, like baked apples. Realy makes ya appreciate a good dram. 👍

Nose is def gettin some heather honey... wait, maybe its more like dried apricots? 🤔 Palate: Smooth, like a velvet glove 👌 Slight smokiness at the back, but not punchy. More like a cozy fireplace scent lingerin. Oh! There's a wee bit of vanilla custard in there too? And sum kinda spice... nutmeg maybe? Finish: Medium-long, leaves a nice warm glow Could do with a drop o' water, opens up the fruitiness 🍑 Aye, solid dram for a Tuesday night 🥃

It's a right proper dram, that. 🍯 First off, the smell - like walking into a bakery, all warm bread and a bit of spicy ginger. Get some apple and a hint of smoke, but not too heavy, y'know? Tastes a bit like toffee apples, with a touch of oaky warmth. Finishes nicely, lingers with a sort of malty sweetness. 👍 Not too shabby at all, makes you wanna have another sip.
