Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Ooh, this whisky's got a lovely smoky aroma, like sitting by a fireplace on a chilly night. 🌙 It's fruity too, init? Kinda reminds me of orchard fruits with a hint of vanilla. Really smooth and comforting, perfect for unwinding. 🥃😊

Took my first sip neat, and wow... this one's got layers! 🥃✨ First, I got this really smooth caramel and vanilla thing, almost like custard. Then there's a bit of spice - maybe some cinnamon? 🌳 The finish is nice and long, with a lingering warmth and a hint of dried fruit. Just a touch of oak in there too. Overall, very well-balanced. Easy to sip but still has plenty of character. Really quite enjoyabel on a cool evening. 👍 The nose is lovely too - quite sweet, maybe a bit of tofee apple? 🍎🔥

Right then, had a proper nice whisky last night. Tasting notes were... smoky 🔥, like a cozy fireplace, with a bit of honey sweetness 🍯. Hints of vanilla and maybe some baked apple? A wee bit of spice at the end, like cinnamon. Really smooth going down. Definitely got that oaky, woody thing going on. Made me think of autumn walks in the woods 🍂. Could taste a touch of citrus or orange peel too. Quite complex, innit? Just a lovely, warming dram for a cold evening. Proper job. 😌
