Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right, settled down with a glass 🥃. Colur is deep amber, catches the light nicely. Nose... sweet vanilla, maybe a bit of orchard fruit 🍎. Taste is warm, realy smooth going down. Got that oaky spice at the back of the throat 🪵. Finish lingers, makes you wanna sit back 😌. Proper comforting stuff for a Tuesday night. Cheers.

Right, proper nice dram this 🥃. Smells like smoke n honey at first. Taste is warm, bit spicy 🌶️. Goes down smooth mostly. Finish lingers abit longer than expected. Reckon its good value for a quiet eve nin. Would have another glass definately. 🔥👍 Colur is lovely gold 🌟. Makes you feel cozy inside.

This whisky's got a lovely smoky kick, sort of like a campfire with a dash of honey sweetness. 🍯 Really warms me up on a chilly evening, y'know? 😊 Just a bit spicy on the tail-end, but that's the fun part! 🥃

Blimey, this one's got a proper smoky nose with hints of vanilla. 😊 Tastes smooth at first, then a bit of spice and dark fruit come through. Finish is warm and lingers nicely – like a cozy evening by the fire. 🔥 Quite lovely, innit? 🥃

As a whisky lover from the UK, this dram hits just right. 🥃 It's got a nice honeycomb sweetness with a smoky edge. 🔥🍯 The mouthfeel is smooth, almost creamy, and it lingers with a peppery kick. 🌶️ Perfect for sipping by the fire on a cold evening. 😌 A bit of toffee and vanilla notes come through too. 🍮 Really satisfying, no complaints. 👍

Right, so this one proper slaps you with apple and cinnamon upfront 🍎✨ - smells like your nan's autumn kitchen but boozy. Then BOOM - smoky honey with a weirdly lush vanilla afterglow, like licking a burnt treacle tart. There's this proper funky floral thing too... almost like sniffin' a fancy candle someone spilled whisky on 😂 Texture's dead smooth, slides round your gob with some nutty choc vibes but then - WHAM - spicy oak finish that tickles the back of your throat for yonks. Actually lingers proper nice like, not harsh just... warm? Yeah. Warms the cockles and that. Gets better with every sip too, honestly. Sometimes get these little bursts of... I dunno, dried fruit maybe? And that smokiness keeps comin' back like a polite ghost 👻 Knocks your socks off but in a good way, innit?

Right, so this whisky's got a real smoky hit at first – like a bonfire, innit? Then it smooths out with some fruity notes, maybe apple or pear. Finish is long and spicy, proper warming! 😋 Got a hint of honey too, which is brill. Makes me wanna sip it all night. 🔥 Just a bit of oakiness, like, but not overpowerin. Luvly stuff! 👍

Gots a smoky hug, kinda leathery an' a bit like walkin' through a dewy field at dawn. 🌄 Hints of ripe pear, maybe, an' that warm toffee note on the finish... a real slow burner. Reminds me of chillin' by the fire after a rainy walk. 😌 A bit prickly at first, but mellows out real nice.
