Elixir Distillers 2007 13 Years Single Malt Whisky

Oh mate, this is proper lush! 😍 Get loads of chocolate and toffee right off the bat, like really rich and warming. Then theres this lovely vanilla and cinnamon thing going on - very cozy innit. Theres some fruit there too, bit of apple and orange maybe, touch of honey sweetness. Really well balanced. The smoke is subtle, not in your face at all, just adds a nice depth. And underneath you get this malty oak character that ties it all together. Really nice dram this, would definately have another glass. 🥃✨

Ooh right then 🥃 Nose: first thing I get is honey, proper lovely stuff. Vanilla's there too, like a fresh scone or summat. Palate: so smooth going in, almost creamy? 🤤 Getting some nice fruity notes, think it's apple and maybe a bit of citrus. There's a gentle warmth, not aggressive at all. Finish: goes on nicely, bit of toffee and just a whisper of smoke 🍯 The sweetness lingers, very moreish this one. Honestly could sit with this all evening. Top drop. 👌
