Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, poured a wee dram tonight. 🥃 Nose is proper lovly, sweet like toffee and honey. 🍯 Palate's rich, got some oak and spice kickin in. Goes down smooth, no harshness at all. Finish is warm, lingered for ages on this cold nite. 🌧️ Proper comforting stuff, definately one to savour. 😌
Ooh, this one's got a real kick. First sip... lots of smoke, like a campfire but sweeter. 🤤 Then I get a bit of apple? Like apple pie spice, maybe cinnamon. Hints of vanilla and toffee creep in as it sits. 🥃 Finish is long and warm, a bit peppery. Makes me think of a damp autumn walk, in a good way. Veri smokey but sweet. Good stuff. 👍
Oh wow, that first nose is proper wafts of damp autumn leaves and a distant bonfire, a real smokey one 🌳🔥. Tastes like toffee apple left on the radiator, then a surprising kick of black pepper at the end. A bit of a marmite dram that one – you either love the charred note or you don't! 😉 A right warming hug for a rainy afternoon.
Well, I tried this dram teh other night, and boy, it's got layers! 🥃 First, a big smoky hit – like, campfire smokiness. Then, sweetness comes thru, honey or caramel maybe. Mouthfeel is smooth, and teh finish lingers with a bit of spice. Really enjoyable, that. 😊
Mmm, that's proper lovely innit 🥃 First whiff... bit of smoke, like a bonfire down the lane. Then some sweet stuff kicks in - caramel, maybe a touch of honey? Tastewise... ooh, quite smooth actualy. Getting some oak and vanilla, maybe a hint of dark chocolate at the back there. Quite warming on a cold evening like tonite 🍂 Finish is decent, lingers a bit with some spicyness. Maybe a bit of dried fruit too? Hard to tell sometimes. Pairs well with a good book and the telly on in the backround. Wouldn't say no to another glass tbh 😊 Not too shabby mate, not too shabby at all.
