Silent Swede 2011 SE

Tastes a bit like warm toffy and smoky peat, init? 🍂 Finnish has a lil kick, almost like cinnamon but not quite… Actually makes me wanna sip it slowly by the fireplace 🥃✨

Honestly, this one's a proper treat 🥃 First sip you get this lovely hit of honey and vanilla, almost like butterscotch. Then there's a bit of lemon zest coming through, quite zingy if im honest. The middle is all creamy, reminds me of apple crumble wth custard. Really smooth going down. Finish is where it gets interesting - a touch of smoke, some warm spice, bit of oak. Lingers nicely 👌 Overall it's like a warm hug on a cold evening. Proper moreish, could easily have another dram. Nose: 🍯🍋🍦 Palate: 🍎✨ Finish: 🔥🪵 Would deffo recommend if you like somthing abit sweeter but not too sweet. Goes well with a bit of dark chocolate on the side

Aye, this whisky's got a lovely fruity nose, with sum peat smoke creeping in. Tastes lyk honey and vanila on the palate, and a nice oaky finish. Very comforting on a cold night. 🥃 Just smooth and warming, no harsh edges at all.
