Springbank 1996 9 Years Single Malt Whisky

Just had a dram o' this. 🥃 Nose is lovely, heavy on the oak and a hint o' citrus. Tastes rich, feels creamy goin' down. Spices come out near the finish, gingerbread vibe. Warmth stays well after. Realy solid drink for an evening. Proper nice. 👌🏼

Tastes rich, like... well, like a proper pudding. The palate follows through. Buttery, with more of that caramel and some stewed fruit. There's a lovely malty backbone to it. Feels quite full and warm in the mouth. Finish is long. The spicy notes come back, alongside a bit of dark chocolate. Lingering warmth. Rather nice, actually. 🥃 Nose: Sweet. Vanilla, cream, caramel.
