Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Aye, this one’s got a right bonnie waft of peaty smoulder straight off, like beach bonfire embers mixin wi’ a salty sea spray. Then comes a proper oaky warmth n’ a spoonful of dark treacle toffee – feels like a cosy armchair by a cracklin fire 🔥🌊. Finish stays long, wi’ a wee kiss of dried apple peel and a faint whiff of heathery honey. Slàinte 🥃 Defo one o’ them drams that hugs yer chest rather than slaps yer face.
Oh, this one's quite nice, I reckon. Nose is all fruity and a bit spicy, kinda like autumn leaves. 😊 Palte – smooth, with some toffy and a hint of smoke. Not too strong, just wright. Finish is warm, lingers a bit with a touch of honey. 👌 Perfect for a relaxed evening, really.
Oh, this whisky's got a real nice kick to it – teh first sip hits you with some spicy notes, like black pepper and a touch of cinnamon. Then it mellows out, sort of sweet and fruity, maybe a bit like apples or pears. 🍎 Finishing off, there's a gentle warmth that lingers, not too harsh. Easy to drink, really – perfect for a cozy evening! 👍 Sometimes it feels a bit smoky, but not overpowering, just enough to add depth. Cheers! 🥃
