Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right, so I had a dram of this whisky last night – gotta say, it was proper lovely. The nose hit me with a smoky vibe, but there's a sweetness too, like honey and some dried fruit. Really got my mouth watering! Taste-wise, it's smooth as anything. I got notes of vanilla and a bit of spice, maybe nutmeg or something. There's a warmth that just builds, feels like a cozy hug. Finish is long and mellow, leaving a sort of caramelly aftertaste. Cheers to that! 🥃 Sometimes I think it's a bit too easy to drink, but no complaints from me! 👍

# 🥃 Whisky Tasting Notes Right so this one's proper lush init. Got loads of vanilla and toffee on the nose, like walking past a sweet shop 🍬 first sip and ye get this lovely honey sweetness, bit of cinnamon spice too. quite smooth tbh, goes down easy then theres this nice smoky wood finish, not overpowering or nuffink, just a gentle warmth. maybe some dried fruit in there aswell? 🍂 thik its got a realy nice balance, like the sweet and smoky bits just work properly together. leaves you wanting another sip defintly rating: would buy again 👍 decent dram for a quiet evening

Right then, here goes... Ooh, that's proper smooth on first sip 😌 Really creamy mouthfeel, like butterscotch almost. Getting loads of honey and vanilla coming through, maybe a bit of dried fruit - figs? Dates? Something like that 🍯 Nice bit of citrus zest on the mid-palate, keeps it from being too sweet. Then there's this gentle smokiness at the back, not aggressive like an Islay, more like... toasted oak? Very subtle like. Finish is lovely and warm, a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg 🫚 Some nuttiness too, almonds maybe. Lingers nicely without being cloying. Overall quite elegant honestly. Would deffo have another glass 🥃 Very drinkable, good balance between the sweet and the smoky bits. Not the most complex dram I've ever had but it's cracking for a quiet evening in. Would pair nicely with some dark chocolate I reckon 👌

Oh mate, this whisky's got a right proper smokey kick, with a sweet hint of vanilla and a bit of fruitiness. 💨🍯 Warming on the throat, like a cozy blanket on a chilly night. Quite smooth, innit? 🥃✨ Sometimes I get a touch of spice, but overall, it's a bloody good sip. Cheers!

Had a sip of this one, and blimey, it's got layers! The nose is all citrusy and vanilla, with a whiff of smoke that's proper gentle. On the palate, it's smooth as anything, hints of spice and maybe some fruity notes. Finish lingers nicely, a bit of honey sweetness. 😊 Proper dram, that is. The texture is lush, almost creamy, and there's a subtle woody vibe underneath. Really enjoyed it, feels balanced and warming without being harsh. 🥃

Nose? Lovely stuff - gettin' apple pie, a bit of toffee, maybe summat floral. 👃🍎 Palate is proper chewy, innit. Honey and them dried fruits ya know, with a hint of spice right at the end. 🍯 Finish lingers on, like. Kinda oak-y and warm. Quite moreish, that. 👌 Actually, after a minute, I'm gettin' a bit of orange peel too. Zesty! 🍊
