Right then, had a wee dram last night and here's what I got: First thing on the nose - bit of honey, some vanilla, maybe a touch of toffee 🍯 Definitely some oaky notes coming through, quite warm and inviting On the palate, it's quite smooth actually. Getting some dried fruit, bit of spice, almost peppery at the end. There's a subtle smokiness there too, not overpowering mind you Mouthfeel is lovely and rich, coats the tongue nicely 👌 Finish lingers for a good while - warm, slightly sweet with that oaky character hanging about. Could be a bit winterey if that makes sense? Overall it's a rather pleasant sipper. Not too complex but very drinkable. Would happily have another glass on a cold evening by the fire 🔥 Solid stuff realy, nice one 👍
