Right, had a dram of this earlier 🥃. Nose is intresting... smoky but with a sweet undertone. Like burnt sugar maybe? Palate warms the chest. Bit of spice, definitley some oak coming thru. Finish is long. Leaves a nice glow. Proper decent dram. Would have another 👍. Bit hard to describe all the flavors but ye get the gist. Cheers 🍻.
The smell hits first, proper autumn: a bit of damp leaves and sweet apple peel, then underneath, like walking into an old library. 📚 On the tongue, it’s got this warm, toasty thing, kinda like salted caramel that doesn’t overwhelm. Gets a little spicy at the end, like black pepper. The aftertaste hangs about, all cozy and oaky. Cheers! 🥃
Smoky, bit o' leather and cherry sorta vibe 🥃 Peat hits ya first, then some sweet oak comes through Get a faint saltiness too, maybe? Dried fruit lingers at the end 🔥 spice cums thru nicely
Nose got a bit of smoke an some fruity hints, like apples maybe. Taste is smoove with a tuch of vanilla an honey. 🥃 Finish lingers nicely, warms you up good. Quite enjoyble really, innit? 😊 A bit of spice comes thru later, adds characta. Overall a solid dram for a quiet evenin. 👍
Blimey, this one's got a proper smoky kick on the nose, like standing next to a woodfire. Tastes a bit earthy with a hint of sweet vanilla, and the finish is smooth as you like. Makes me wanna curl up with a book on a rainy day. 🥃😊
Nose is lovely, bit of smokiness and some honey coming through 🍯 Taste wise, gettin vanilla and apple, maybe a touch of caramel. Quite smooth actualy. Nice warmth at teh end with a bit of spice 🔥 Finish is decent, a little peppery but in a good way. Proper nice dram for a cold evening, that 🥃
Just had a dram... wow. 🥃 The nose is like walking into a bakery - all warm vanlla and baked apples. Smells comfy, like a Sunday mornin'. First sip hits ya with somethin' sweet... honey? Toffee? Like burnt sugar on a crème brûlée. Then it gets a bit spicy, peppery almost. Quite the dance on the tongue. 💃 It's def got that oak thing goin' on, woody, like an old bookshelf. A lil smky too, in the background, like a distant bonfire. Not overpowerin', just... there. Finish is long and warming. Leaves a nice, spicy tingle. And a bit of dark fruit, like plums or cherries. 🍒 Overall? It's a proper journey. Starts sweet, gets complex, ends dry and spicey. Really enjoyin' it. 👍 Makes ya wanna sit back and just... appreciate it, you know?
