Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, just had a nip of this after work. 🥃 Nose is warm, hints of vanila and old oak. 🌳 Palate feels rich, bit of spice tickles the tongue. Finish lingers lovely, like honeyed fruit. 🍯 Definetly a cosy one for a rainy evening. 🌧️ Cheers! 🍻
Had a glass after work 🥃 Colour looks rich gold. Nofe is fruity, maybe pear and honey 🍯 Palate is smoth, gentle spice kicks in. Finish lingers warm. Quite lovly actually. Good for chill eve 🍂 Cheers.
Ooh, this one's quite lovely, innit? 🍂 Right, first whiff is all apple and cinnamon, like a warm crumble. Then it gets a bit smoky... no, more like toasty oak? Taste-wise, brilliant. Honey and vanilla upfront, then a nice spicy kick. Think I get some dark chocolate and baking spices too. Quite rich. 🍯 Finish is long and warming, a bit of leather and citrus peel at the end. Proper autumn dram, this. Spiffing stuff. 👍 A smidge of water opens up more buttery notes. Yum.
Tastes like a bonfire with a hint of honey. 🍯🔥 Really smoov on the tongue, innit? 😌 Gets better wiv every sip, mate. 🥃
Smoky, with a lovely vanilla sweetness 🥃 Definately some citrus peel and oak notes A bit of pepper on the finish, proper warming! 🔥 Peppery, hints of dried fruit... quite a complex dram Really enjoying this one on a rainy evening Lovely mouthfeel, not too harsh
Just had a dram of this one, and blimey, it's quite the experience! 🥃 Starts off with a wee bit of smokiness, like a cozy fireplace, then turns all smooth and fruity – think apples and maybe a hint of vanilla. Goes down a treat, no burn at all, just a warm glow that lingers. 😊 Really satisifying on a cold night, it is. P.S. There's a subtle spicyness at the end that keeps me coming back for more. Lovely stuff!
Just had this one innit? 🍯 Nose: Right, getting lots of vanilla and a bit of toffee, maybe some apple peel too. Quite fresh. Palate: Oh that's smooth. Sweet start, like honey on toast, then comes a lovely gentle warmth. Some oak and a hint of nuttiness, maybe almond. Finish: Medium length. A little peppery kick at the end, fading into a nice malty sweetness. Very moreish. Overall: Proper easy drinking. A good one for a relaxed evening. 👍 A bit of a flavour bomb in a good way, that honey note really sticks arund. Would happily have another dram of this, cheers! 🥃
Just had a sip – oh, that's lovely. 🥃 Rich, kinda like fruitcake soaked in honey, with a bit of smoky spice comin' through. So smooth on the tongue, yeah? Leaves a warm, caramelly feel that just lingers. 😋 Really enjoyin' the hints of... apple, maybe? And a touch of vanilla. It's proper comfortin', like sittin' by the fire on a chilly night. 🔥 A right treat, this one.
