Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right then, had abit of this earlier. 🥃 Nose is proper nice... hints of caramel and vanilla. Maybe a touch of smoke? Taste is warm, goes down smooth. Definitly some oak and spice coming through. Finish lingers nicely. Leaves a cozy feeling. Proper good for a quiet night in 🍂 Cheers.
Right, had a wee dram of this last night. 🥃 Proper smoky it is, reminds me of a peat fire 🔥 Got that vanilla sweetness too, balences it out nicely. Finish is long n warm... perfect for a rainy Tuesday. 🌧️ Reckon it's a bit special this one. 👌 Might hav to grab another bottle.
Right, just had a wee dram and straight away I’m gettin' a whiff of honey'd vanilla 🍯, maybe a cheeky bit of citrus peel. The taste is a proper pepper prickle, some smouldery oak, and dried fruit lurkin’ in the back. Finish brings dark chocolate and a touch of old leather. Nutty whispers too. Not half bad, that. 🔥🥃 *Sláinte!*
This whisky's got a real nice leathery and smoky vibe, with a hint of honey sweetness. 😊 The finish is warm and a bit earthy, like walking through a forest after rain. 🌿 Sometimes I get notes of caramel and a touch of spice, making it perfect for a cozy evening. 🥃 Really enjoy how it lingers on the palate, sort of peaty but not too overdone. 👍 Oh, and there's a subtle fruitiness there, maybe apples or pears? Anyway, it's a proper treat! 🍎
Right then... 🥃 first hit is all smoke and oak, like a proper bonfire. But then it softens, get some honey n vanilla comin through. Tasts a bit like dried fruit too, maybe some apple? That oaky bit lingers. Nice warmth goin down, not too sharp. 🍯🔥 A real sipper, this one. Makes you want to sit back and just enjoy the evenin. 🌳
Blimey, this whisky's got a right smoky whiff, like a bonfire in autumn. 🔥 Tastes of honey and a touch of spce... spiciness, sweet and warm. Finish is smoothe, lingers nicely on the tongue. Reckon it's a proper dram for a chilly evenin'. 🍯✨
Oh wow, this dram is brilliant! 🌟 Gettin' smoky notes 🌫️ with a touch of fruit 🍎. On the palate, it's smothe, like caramel and honey 🍯. A bit of spice at the end. Really enjoyin' it! 😊
Oh mate, this one's a proper treat 🥃 Right, so on the nose you get this lovely waft of... vanilla and a bit of caramel sweetness, almost like burnt sugar? Really inviting that. First sip — boom 💥 loads of honey, then this warm spiciness kicks in. Maybe some dried fruit, like raisins or sultanas. Quite sherried I'd say. The smokiness is there but not overwhelming, more like a gentle peat lingering in the background. Very well balanced init. Finish is long and warm 🔥 got this lovely oak and a bit of dark chocolate at the end. Slightly nutty too. Honestly just a proper lovely dram for a rainy evening 🌧️ Easy to drink but still got enough depth to keep ya interested. Would definately have another. 9/10 would recomend 👍
