Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right, this one’s a proper treat. Nose is all honey'd orchard fruit 🍎, a wee bit of sea spray 🌊, an’ a gentle puff of peat smoke. Palate’s dead rich—sticky toffee, dark choc 🍫, then a sudden kick of spice like ginger snaps. Finish jus’ lingers wi’ oak, a salty kiss, an’ this warm, slow glow. Proper cosy dram, that. 👍

2#2

First sip, a lovely vanilla rush with hints of honey. Then some fruity notes, like baked apple or pear. Finish is long and warming, with a touch of spice and smoke. 🥃 Really enjoyed this one, feels like a cozy evening dram. 😊

Right, this whisky's got a proper character! 😊 First sip, you get a smoky hit, like a cozy fireplace. Then a sweet honey note sneaks in, with a hint of apple. Finishes with a bit of spice and oak – really warms you up on a cold night. Love it! 🥃

Right then, this whisky’s got a real cozy vibe to it 🥃 Sort of sweet like honey, with a hint of spice that sneaks up on ya. Maby a bit of oak in there too? Warms you up proper on a cold night! 😊 Cheers!

Blimey, this one's a proper journey. 🥃 First sip: A right kick of peaty smoke, sort of like a bonfire on the beach. Get sume dark chocolate undertones, reely rich. Then it mellows oot. Catches sume sweet dried fruit, maybe figs? A bit o' leather and a nutty, malty backbone. Dead smooth. Long finish, keeps ya warm. Lingers wif a hint of black pepper and oak. Cracking stuff. 👍 A proper winter warmer, that is.

6#6

Ooh, that's a proper dram, that is. Smacks you right in the face with smoke, like a bonfire 🔥. Then you get this lovely, sticky honey sweetness, maybe some vanilla too. Bit of citrus peal in there, I reckon. Mellows outt into a nice, woody spice. Goes down real smooth, warms you right up. Like sitting by a bonnet with a blanket. Good stuff. Just a good dram. 🥃

7#7

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper smoky kick to it. 🔥 Tastes a bit like burnt toffee and apples, innit? Really smooth on the tonge, with a warm, spiccy finish. 😊 Leaves a nice long aftertaste, kinda oaky and honeyed. Perfect for a chilly evening! 🍯 Just a bit of a burn at the back, but not too harsh. Enjoyable sip, that.
