Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Ohhh nice, I reckon I'm gettin' some vanilla and caramel notes, maybe a bit of citrus zest? 🍊 The finish's got a gentle warmth, like a cozy hearth. Quite smooth really, wouldn't say no to another dram! 🥃

2#2

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper smoky warmth with hints of oak and honey. Feels right cozy on a cold evening, y'know? 🥃 Sometimes a bit of peaty earthiness comes through, which I bloomin' love. Smooth as anything, really. 😋 Cheers to a good dram!

Honestly, this dram is a proper kick in the senses! 😅 First hit is all smoky, kinda like a bonfire in autumn. Then, boom, loads of sweet stuff comes through - think burnt sugar, caramel, even a bit of vanilla. 🍬 There's a spicy kick there too, like cinnamon or ginger. Very warming on the way down, innit. TBH, it's a bit of a rollercoaster, man. Not for the faint-hearted, but deffo interesting. 🔥 A water drop or two might help open it up.

4#4

Hmm, quite a nose on this one. Get a bit of cinnamon and maybe some apple? 🍎 The palate's a bit spicy, like black pepper, but there's a nice malty sweetness in there too. Finish is medium, with a gentle smoke coming through. Quite pleasant, actually. 🥃 Not bad for a Tuesday dram.

5#5

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper nice taste! 😋 Smoky start, like a campfire but not overdoing it. Then some sweetness, kinda like honey or caramel. 🍯 A bit of spice on the finish, really warms you up. 🔥 Goes down smooth, reckon it's spot on for a quiet night. 👍 Oh, and there's a hint of fruitiness there too, maybe apples or summat. Quite moreish! 😄

Just had a sip and... wow 😮 Smells like burnt toffee mixed with damp autumn leaves. First taste hits with cinnamon spice, then fades into something like dark chocolate with a hint of smoke. Feels real warm going down, almost like sitting by a fireplace. Bit oily on the tongue, not bad though. Aftertaste? Keeps lingering, kinda like walnuss and dried fruit. Gonna savour this one. 🥃 Not too strong but defs makes ya slow down n' enjoy. Might get another glass later, heh.
