Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right then, just poured a dram 🥃. Reckon it's proper nice this one. Nose is fruity, apple 🍎 and bit of orange. Palate feels warm, sweet like honey 🍯, vanilla and cocoa 🍫. Got alittle smoke and oak too. Finish is dryish, spicy kick at the end 🔥. Definitly quite enjoyable for a rainy eveing. Cheers mates! 🍻

Ah, right then. Gave this one a proper go. On the nose, it's lovely. Got that nice vanilla and honey thing, with just a touch of peat smoke hanging about. Quite inviting, really. The taste is where it gets good. 🍯 Sweet, like toffee apples, then some nice spice and oak come through. It's got a good, smoth mouthfeel, not too thin at all. Finish is warm, a bit smoky, and lasts a decent while. Really enjoyable. 🌟 It's a good un, this. Just a nice, well-rounded dram for an evenin'. 😊

Oi, this whisky's got a right smoky kick to it, innit? 🥃🔥 Almost like a campfire on a chilly evening. And there's a sweetness too—hints of honey and vanilla. 🍯 On the palate, it's smooth as silk, with a touch of fruit, maybe some apple or pear. 🍎 Really warming, goes down easy after work. 👍 Proper lovely stuff, that is! 😊

This one’s got a real smoky start, like a bonfire in the autumn. Then it softens up with sweet caramel and a bit of vanilla, maybe some dark fruit lurking in there. The finish is long and warming, with a spicy kick – cinnamon or pepper? Hard to tell, but it lingers nicely. A bit of oak and leather too, feels proper robust. 👍 Not too shabby for a dram!

5#5

Aye, this whisky's got a proper smoky nose, like a bonfire on a damp evenin'. 🔥 Tastes of honey an' a bit o' oak, with a warm, spicy finish. 🥃 Maybe a touch o' citrus or apple too? 🍊 Quite moreish, innit. Slight typo in "moreish" - meant "morish" but it's fine.

6#6

Aroma's a bit smoky with a hint of fruit, like. 🍎 Tastes smoth, got some honey and spice goin' on. 🍯 Finish lingers nicely, warm and pleasant. ☀️ Proper decent dram, innit? 😄

Oh wow, this is a proper lovely drop 🥃 First hit is that nice smoky vibe, a bit like a campfire but not overwhelming. Then you get this honey and vanilla sweetness coming through, really smooth. 🔥 There’s a citrus zing in there too, maybe orange peel? And a hint of dark chocolate at the end. Really warms you up on a cold night. 🍫🍊 Honestly, it’s my favrit kind of profile – smoky but sweet. Perfect for sipping slowly. Cheers! 👍
