このウイスキー、香りからしてすごい。 cedar wood と sandalwood の深い木の香りに、 oranges や raspberries みたいなフルーティな甘さが混ざって、ちょっと “なにこれ？”ってなるくらい expressive なんだよね。 口に含むと、 creamy で rich な texture。 marzipan みたいな nutty な甘さと、 sugar cane を連想させる luscious な甘みが広がる。でも、 spices と eucalyptus がピリッと効いてて、奥に discreet な peatiness がある。全体が perfect balance で、 heavy なのに incredibly smooth。 アルコールがちょっと強いので、 water をちょっと足すと、 softer な spices と、 almost red な berries のような fruitty な profile が一層際立つ。 add すると bubblegummy notes みたいなのも少し顔を出す？ fun な発見✨ 後味は long で、 creamy fruity な余韻に、最後に peaty and peppery な kick が残る。 a lot happening してるのに、一点都不渋い。 excellent modern-style malt whisky って感じだね。 This one’s really bang! 😊 water を加えると、 varnish っぽいのが消えて、 more fruity に。 sugar cane の甘みが dominant に。 perfect な一杯だった。 😋
