Tullamore Dew stands as Ireland's second-highest selling Irish whiskey worldwide, commanding exceptional popularity in international markets, surpassed only by Jameson. The brand's heritage dates to 1829 with the founding of the Tullamore Distillery in County Offaly, Ireland. After the original distillery's closure in 1950, production transferred to the Midleton Distillery in County Cork for over six decades. In a celebrated homecoming, 2014 marked the opening of a new, state-of-the-art Tullamore Distillery on the town's outskirts, returning whiskey-making to its birthplace after 60 years. The iconic name 'Dew' honors Mr. Daniel E. Williams, an early general manager whose initials D.E.W. became synonymous with quality craftsmanship.
