The Whisky Agency (TWA) is a prestigious German independent bottler founded in 2008 by Carsten Ehrlich, a key figure in the whisky world and co-founder of the renowned Whisky Fair in Limburg. Recognizable by its distinctive butterfly logo, TWA began as a behind-the-scenes contract bottler for distilleries, clubs, and corporate clients before strategically pivoting to focus on its own premium label. The company has earned exceptional acclaim for its impeccable cask selection, specializing in single cask, cask strength releases from both iconic and closed distilleries. TWA operates several respected sub-brands including The Perfect Dram, Liquid Sun, Liquid Library, and Private Stocks, each maintaining the company's reputation for quality, authenticity, and innovation in the independent bottling sector.
