Omar 2009 7 años Single Malt Whisky

OMAR, meaning 'amber' in Scottish Gaelic, embodies the essence of Taiwan's Nantou Distillery. Nestled in a warm climate with pristine, pollution-free water sourced from the Central Mountain Range, this environment is exceptionally suited for whisky production and maturation. Committed to authenticity, OMAR single malt whiskies are non-chill filtered and contain no added caramel coloring. The brand's philosophy, 'Amber Heart, Taiwan Emotion,' captures the distinctive terroir and original character of Taiwanese whisky, expressed through subtle golden-amber hues and rich tropical fruit aromatics. Since October 2013, Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation has released limited single cask, cask strength expressions that have garnered critical acclaim. OMAR has consistently earned professional recognition at major international competitions annually since 2014, including the International Spirits Challenge (ISC), San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), Malt Maniacs Awards (MMA), International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), World Whiskies Awards (WWA), and Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB).
