Lark Single Cask Single Malt Whisky

Lark Distillery, founded in 1992 by Bill Lark in Hobart, Tasmania, stands as the pioneering force behind Australia's modern whisky renaissance. As one of the nation's premier craft distilleries, Lark employs time-honored Scottish-style distillation methods adapted to Tasmania's unique environment. The distillery operates a 1,800-liter copper pot still for wash distillation and a 500-liter spirit still for precise cuts, producing premium spirits. Lark's flagship Lark Single Malt Whisky, crafted from locally-sourced Tasmanian barley and pure highland water, matures in small casks within the island's cool maritime climate, developing distinctive flavor profiles. The portfolio also includes Forty Spotted Rare Tasmanian Gin, featuring native botanicals. Globally recognized with numerous awards, Lark Distillery has been instrumental in establishing Tasmania as a world-class whisky-producing region, offering visitors an acclaimed cellar door experience at their Hobart waterfront location.
