DYC Whisky de Malta Blended

DYC (Destilerías y Crianza del Whisky) stands as Spain's pioneering whisky institution, founded in 1959 by visionary entrepreneur Nicomedes García in Palazuelos de Eresma, Castilla y León. As Spain's first dedicated whisky distillery, DYC revolutionized the Iberian spirits landscape when it launched its flagship brand in 1963. Strategically situated on the high plateau northwest of Madrid, the distillery leverages the extreme continental climate of Castilla y León—scorching summers and frigid winters—that accelerates maturation and imparts distinctive character to its whiskies. Today, DYC remains an iconic Spanish whisky marque, representing a unique fusion of Scottish tradition with Castilian terroir and craftsmanship, and continues to be a cornerstone of the Spanish whisky category with its accessible, malt-forward profile that has educated generations of Spanish consumers.
