Created as a peated counterpart to Bruichladdich's unpeated style, Lochindaal whiskies featured a phenol level of 50ppm, positioning them between the medium-peated Port Charlotte (40ppm) and the heavily-peated Octomore series. The brand championed terroir-driven production, utilizing 100% Islay-grown barley from a single farm, reflecting Bruichladdich's commitment to provenance.
