Agot is a single malt Basque whiskey handcrafted at an independent distillery in the Basque Country from 100% Navarrese malted barley, specifically Pilsner and Munich varieties. The Pioneer Edition undergoes double distillation in traditional copper pot stills and is matured for three years in a combination of American ex-bourbon oak casks and French oak casks that previously held Rioja Alavesa wine, creating a unique expression that bridges Scottish whisky-making tradition with Basque terroir and innovative craftsmanship.
