Royal Duke Club

United Kingdom

Royal Duke Club, known as "红帽爵士" (The Red-Hatted Knight), is a distinguished whisky brand born from the heart of Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow stands as Scotland's critical transportation nexus, where countless whisky casks converge and mature in its historic warehouses. The brand's emblem pays homage to the city's most iconic landmark—the equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington, which has stood since 1844, famously adorned with a bright orange traffic cone since 1980 when a mischievous prankster crowned the hero of Waterloo. Despite municipal efforts to remove this unofficial headdress, the cone has become a beloved symbol of Glasgow's irreverent spirit and is now protected as a cultural icon. True to this spirit of rebellious authenticity, Royal Duke Club maintains an exclusive, invitation-only private cellar. Each year, our Master Blender personally selects just two to three exceptional single cask, single malt whiskies from our extensive maturation inventory. These rare casks undergo meticulous small-batch vatting, employing time-honored techniques and uncompromising standards to create a singular expression that captures the soul of Glasgow. The result is a connoisseur's whisky of profound complexity—an uncompromising, gourmet-grade spirit that honors both Scottish tradition and the city's famously defiant character.
