Shelter Point Distillery was established in 2011 on a 380-acre property along the Oyster River in British Columbia, nestled midway along the east coast of Vancouver Island. For generations, Shelter Point has remained one of the island's last true seaside farms. We are naturally endowed with the essential elements for crafting exceptional spirits: fertile soil to cultivate our own barley, a vast underground aquifer providing naturally filtered pure water, and the crisp maritime breezes of the Salish Sea. Combined with our master craftsmen's expertise, time-honored Scottish distillation traditions, and cutting-edge facilities, the result is a world-class distillery that captures the pure essence of Canada's West Coast.
