Suntory's Kakubin, created by founder Shinjiro Torii from his personal recipe, has long been cherished by consumers for its iconic yellow square bottle, tortoiseshell pattern, and exceptional value. Suntory Kakubin is a blend of Yamazaki Distillery's malt whiskey and carefully aged grain whiskey. It is aromatic and sweet, rich, mellow, and remarkably smooth. The name 'Kakubin' derives from the traditional tortoiseshell pattern symbolizing longevity and prosperity, which forms the basis of its bottle design. The bottle is crafted using Japan's traditional 'cut glass' technique, exuding Eastern elegance. 'Kaku' means square, 'bin' means bottle. In Japan, 'Kakubin' has become synonymous with whiskey.
